Welcome to your regular Friday bite-sized chunk of…
…eight and a half words in and I’m already distracted by the prospect of a doughnut in the kitchen. It must be NaNoProMo already! (Not a typo, work it out)
So how are we all doing? Since my regular computer is currently out being repaired I’m a little behind everyone else, to the point I’m picking up a less painful idea to write with. Looks like there’ll be some powerwriting in the near future to try and catch up, but a writer welcomes a challenge with open arms! (Even if they put it back and back so it becomes less of a challenge and more of a long-term mental growth).
I ate a doughnut in the time it took to write this. My father is also watching House, which brings me to the point of this post: writers are creatures of habit. We may write on the computer sometimes, sometimes at home, sometimes on a laptop elsewhere, somewhere on a notepad (the paper kind, despite what someone at drama believed last night) but most importantly, these are all choices we as writers make and each individual thing is something that remains consistent. Removing one of these options is what makes a terrible excuse for not writing.
There is a point to this post, believe it or not. Have a great weekend folks.
