On Magic, Part 3.

This week I’m going to give you a few basic (and not so basic) examples of magic types.

Divination: Gathering information, uncovering secrets, seeking guidance.

Restoration: Recovering health, curing ailments.

Pyromancy: Utilising control over fire to great extent.

Domination: Control over another living being, either physically or mentally.

Necromancy: Magic regarding the dead, from communicating with the deceased to reanimation: often outlawed in fiction.

Chronomancy: Magic control over time, not to be confused with time travel- it must have a magic-based point of origin.

Telepathy: The ability to read the minds of other people.

Telekinesis: The ability to control objects with only your mind.

Druidism: Regrowth and protection of nature.

Shamanism: Protection and utilisation of the elements themselves, traditionally fire, water, earth and air.
