Rule One

I am going to blog over the next fourty Thursdays, including today, one rule from the book Ignore Everybody by Hugh MacLeod. They are rules on keys to creativity. And are for anything you want to do that involves the creative process. All these posts are going to be short from now on.

First rule:

“Ignore everybody. The more original your idea is, the less people know about it.”

Nobody knows if their idea is any good really. At least not until it’s finished. Then you are still not one hundred percent sure.

That’s all.

Have a nice week

Jon

PS I finished my first draft of my novella Thee Tribal Guard: The Nexus Chamber Story a few weeks ago. Forgot to say.
